Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Kyberlink ("the app") is an independent iPhone VPN client developed by ShiftPixel Lab ("we", "us") for iOS 26.0 and later. Kyberlink is not affiliated with or endorsed by the WireGuard project or its trademark owner. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. Data we don't collect

We want to be explicit about this. Kyberlink does not collect any of the following:

• Account information — there are no accounts and no sign-ups
• Personal identifiers, email addresses, or phone numbers
• Browsing history, DNS lookups, or traffic metadata
• Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or fingerprints
• Crash reports or analytics from third-party SDKs
• Location data of any kind

3. Data that stays on your device

The following information is stored locally on your device and never leaves it unless you explicitly export or share it:

• Tunnel configurations (server address, keys, allowed IPs, DNS settings) — stored in the iOS Keychain, encrypted at rest by the operating system.
• Connection preferences such as on-demand rules and per-SSID settings — stored in standard iOS user defaults.
• Session statistics (handshakes, transfer counts, session duration) — computed in memory while a tunnel is active and not persisted after disconnect.

4. How VPN traffic flows

When you activate a tunnel, your device establishes a direct connection to the endpoint defined in your configuration. Your traffic is encrypted end-to-end between your device and that endpoint using the open WireGuard® protocol specification (Curve25519, ChaCha20, Poly1305, BLAKE2s). Kyberlink has no servers and cannot see, intercept, or log any of this traffic.

5. Apple's role

Kyberlink is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple collects information about app downloads, crashes (if you opted in to sharing analytics with developers), and purchases according to its own privacy policy. We receive only anonymized, aggregated reports from App Store Connect (e.g., total downloads per country). We do not receive any information that identifies individual users.

6. Permissions Kyberlink requests

• Network Extension / VPN configuration — required by iOS to install and operate a VPN tunnel.
• Local network / Wi-Fi SSID access (optional) — used only if you enable per-SSID on-demand rules, so the app can tell whether you're on a trusted network.
• Camera (optional) — used only when you tap "Scan QR code" to import a configuration.

None of these permissions are used to collect data about you.

7. Children's privacy

Kyberlink is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone — including children. The app contains no advertising and no social features.

8. Changes to this policy

If we materially change how the app handles data, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Because Kyberlink doesn't collect data, we don't maintain a user mailing list to notify — please check back here if you want to stay current.
